German classes are held on Thursdays in More London starting Thursday February 1st 2018. They cost £180 for new students and £150 for returning students. The times and levels are as follows:
Thursday 5.45pm (45 mins) Intermediate German at More London
German Intermediate is for people who have done some before, perhaps up to GCSE, A-level, or lived in Germany. We'll aim to cover the following subjects: we'll learn how to say who you are, where you live, what your job is, and talk about your family. We will discuss the German education system, health system, and some history. As far as the grammar is concerned we'll look at singular and plural, masculine, feminine and neuter, the cases and the present tense, future tenses, and some past tenses. We will also look at some of the German cases, and in some lessons, we will look at German newspaper articles, and radio and tv stations.
If you would like to enrol please contact us. We recommend you email Susan to get an idea as to exactly what the best level is for you.
"Attending Susan’s classes made learning German a lot less daunting. She is a very good judge of individual progress and the pace of the group is set so everyone benefits. Her interactive approach based on real-life scenarios meant we weren’t stuck on grammar but got on with how to communicate in real life.
Although I have a long way to go to achieving fluency in German, Susan’s classes definitely set me on the right tracks."

"I first joined Susan's German beginners' class about seven years ago and have attended classes continuously for the past three years, reaching (I believe!) a good level in the intermediate class. I certainly coped well when I went to Cologne in June. The class is friendly and relaxed and Susan deals really skilfully with the inevitable mix of abilities, stretching everyone just a bit but not threatening anyone. There is a great mix of reading, listening and conversation, and grammar is introduced in digestible bits! I find the duration of the class just right. I have attended 2-hour language evening classes at local techs in the past and would never go back."
