German classes from Thursday February 1st 2018:
The cost is £150 for returning students and £180 for new students
German classes are held on Thursdays in More London. The times and levels are as follows:
Thursday 5.45pm (45 mins) Intermediate German (start date Thursday February 1st)
Thursday 8.45pm (45 mins) Beginner German (start date Thursday February 1st)
This is for beginners. We'll aim to cover the following subjects: we'll learn how to say who you are, where you live, what your job is, and talk about your family. We'll look at how to buy clothes in a shop, book into a hotel, get out of an airport, and how to order food in a restaurant. As far as the grammar is concerned we'll look at singular and plural, masculine, feminine, and neuter, the present tense, and if things go quickly, we may look at the past tense too. The main emphasis will be on speaking the language so that you can go to the country, and make your way around.
This is for people who have done some before, perhaps up to GCSE, A-level, or lived in Germany. We'll aim to cover the following subjects: we'll learn how to say who you are, where you live, what your job is, and talk about your family. We will discuss the German education system, health system, and some history. As far as the grammar is concerned we'll look at singular and plural, masculine, feminine and neuter, the cases and the present tense, future tenses, and some past tenses. We will also look at some of the German cases, and in some lessons, we will look at German newspaper articles, and radio and tv stations.
